Jonathan Lloyd
Private client solicitor
Jonathan is head of our private client department. He graduated with a BA Business Studies degree from Liverpool John Moores University in 1981.
He also has a Master's degree in Industrial Relations and Employment Law degree, which he gained in 1983.
Jonathan began by working as a trainee accountant, after completing an Accounts Foundation Course from Nottingham Trent University.
He worked within the construction and energy sector, and then returned to Nottingham Trent University to complete a Law Conversion Course and his solicitor's finals.
After training at a firm in Derby, Jonathan qualified as a solicitor in 1991. He then moved to a firm in Lincolnshire, where he dealt with family law, wills and probate and other private client cases.
Jonathan moved to Leeds in 2003 and worked for a trade union law firm and then moved to a commercial law firm in York.
He joined Kingswell Watts in 2012, and primarily deals with wills and probate and power of attorney cases in our private client department.
